why?

  • Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It was discovered by Mikao Usui in March 1922. Reiki is administered by laying hands and techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years. Reiki is a simple and powerful technique that can be learned by anyone. It also does no harm.

    I was attuned by Reiki Master Jessika Harrison in Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki I/II.

  • It’s my intuition that has led me to combine these two practices because it’s helped me so much to learn more about how I’m designed and then use Reiki to get me into a better head/energy space to allow me to make changes that will allow me to decondition and live in greater alignment with my design. The deconditioning process can also be a bit stressful and tiring, so reiki can also help to restore balance to your mind and body.

FAQs

  • When you receive reiki you may feel sensations like warmth, coolness, tingling, twitching, static, electricity, tingling, numbness, buzzing, itchiness or sleepiness. Those that are more in tune with their bodies may feel additional sensations or have the experience of viewing imagery or connecting with guides. You also may feel nothing at all, but rest assured the reiki is still working.

  • You may feel more tired after reiki because of the deep sense of relaxation. It’s important to rest and drink water after your session. Try to avoid alcohol, caffeine and tobacco for 24 hours after. There may be feelings and emotions that are released. Taking note of these feelings be journaling can be helpful. Also pay attention to your dreams the night after reiki.

  • Reiki healers can tap into the universal life force energy and through the use of the distance symbol and visualizing the recipient send it anywhere. Energy transcends both time and distance. It is recommended that you lay down in a relaxed state listening to some peaceful music while I am sending reiki to you. It is not recommended to be driving or doing other activities while receiving the reiki from a distance. Some have said that they can sense the distance reiki more than when being in the same physical space because they were not expecting the same level of energetic connection.

  • Ra Uru Hu channeled a voice that allowed him to become the messenger and founder of the Human Design system. You can learn more about it here.

  • I recommend starting with the one hour system and then taking that information away and sitting with it. It can be overwhelming all of the things that you can glean from your chart, so it’s best to contemplate for awhile. You can then come back for another hour to dig deeper, ask more questions and dive in a bit more. The system of Human Design has a lot of depth. They say that the deconditioning process can take 7 years, as you shed layers of all of that accumulated “stuff” - the beliefs, traumas, values, stories and experiences that were projected or accepted by you and internalized. We’re always going through some sort of shedding, so fear not, we’ll uncover a better, more aligned you, step by step.
